Is There a GPT for Google Ads?

Answered 15 September 2026 · Written and reviewed by Chris Krassnig

The Short Answer

Yes, Scaley is a connected GPT for Google Ads built by ZenoX Media's team. It reads your account and suggests changes without writing. "GPT" can also mean a custom GPT, Google's AI chats or Google Publisher Tag. Only the Scaley Suite writes to an account, and only after an individual yes from you.

Four Different Products Wear the Name

The question is genuinely ambiguous, because the search results are too. Four different things get called a GPT for Google Ads.

Google Publisher Tag. The letters "GPT" already belong to Google, and this is the boring one. It is an ad-serving script publishers put on websites to deliver ads, part of Google Ad Manager. It cannot manage Google Ads campaigns and was never meant to. Same three letters, unrelated job.

A custom GPT built on ChatGPT. OpenAI's documentation on GPT Actions says a custom GPT can call an external API with developer-configured authentication. So this kind of GPT for Google Ads can exist when a builder creates the connection. As of today, Scaley has not confirmed a first-party Google Ads connection supplied by OpenAI, and it has not tested every third-party GPT or bridge.

Google's own AI chats. The recon run for today found Ask Ad Manager announced on blog.google. The name is honest: it belongs to Google Ad Manager, the publisher product, not Google Ads. It also found Ads and Analytics Advisors on business.google.com, Google's advisor tools for people running ads. The SERP reads also show Google announcing its own Gemini chat inside Google Ads. Pieces are live and more is coming, inside the products you already use.

A connected chat built by someone else. Third-party software that links a chat to your account. It reads your real data and answers from it. This is the new category, and it is where Scaley sits.

What Each Kind Can and Cannot Touch

One line each, no sales pitch.

Google Publisher Tag serves ads on websites. It never touches your Google Ads account at all.

Google's own chat lives inside Google's product, so what it can reach is what Google gives it.

A custom GPT starts as a general ChatGPT session with zero account access, and ends up with exactly the access its builder wired in. Read the fine print before you hand one credentials.

A connected chat reads your real numbers and answers from them. Its permissions determine whether it only reads or can also write, so check the product's access model and approval gate before connecting it.

The Connected Kind, and the Write Gate

Scaley is the connected kind, built by the team behind ZenoX Media, a Google Ads agency. The chat tier talks Google Ads with you. The tier above it connects to your account read-only. It answers from your real numbers: what spent, what converted, which search terms are burning money, which products earn their keep. The chat lives at /gpt-for-google-ads.

Neither chat tier writes to the account. Ever. Scaley Suite costs $199/mo plus 4% of spend. Only the Scaley Suite writes to an account, and only after an individual yes from you. Reading can be automatic. Changing cannot.

We build Scaley, so weigh that. The receipts behind it belong to ZenoX Media, rated 4.8 from 38 reviews on Trustpilot. Agency reviews, not Scaley product reviews.

Where each pick wins. Want Google's own assistant? It comes with Google's products. Want copy drafted tonight? Plain ChatGPT does that. Want your own numbers read back with suggestions attached? That is the connected kind, and that is what /gpt-for-google-ads is for.
