Refund and Billing Policy

This policy covers how Scaley AI (operated by Zenox Marketing Management - FZCO) handles trials, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds. It is part of the Terms of Service. Fees and plans stated at checkout control in case of any conflict with this page.

Free trial

Where we offer a free trial, the length and terms are stated at signup (typically 14 days, no credit card required). During the trial you get access to the product features stated at signup. The trial ends when the stated period runs out or when you start a paid plan, whichever is first. We do not charge you during the trial unless the signup page says otherwise.

Subscriptions and renewals

Scaley is sold on monthly or annual plans. Fees are stated at checkout in the currency shown and are exclusive of any applicable VAT, sales tax, or similar, which are added where required.

Unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period, subscriptions renew automatically for another period of the same length, at the then-current list price, using the payment method on file. We send a renewal reminder by email before annual renewals where required by law (including California residents under the Automatic Renewal Law).

We may change pricing and plan features. Price changes apply on the next renewal after we notify you by email or in-product.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time from inside the product (Billing settings) or by emailing hello@scaleyai.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then. We do not refund the remainder of the current period.

Refunds

  • Monthly plans: non-refundable once the billing period has started. Cancel anytime; access continues through the period you paid for.
  • Annual plans: if you bought an annual plan and decide it is not for you, email us within fourteen (14) days of the initial purchase and we will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis. After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.
  • Duplicate or billing errors: if you were charged by mistake, email hello@scaleyai.com within 60 days and we will investigate and refund where appropriate.
  • Statutory rights: if you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants non-waivable refund rights, those rights apply on top of this policy.

We do not refund any ad spend you have paid directly to Google, Shopify, or any other platform. Those charges are between you and the platform.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback. Almost every issue can be resolved by email. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in the associated account being suspended until the dispute is resolved.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we will retry the card a few times and email you. If the payment is not resolved within a reasonable period (usually 14 days), we may suspend access until the balance is settled.

Taxes

Fees are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for any VAT, sales tax, withholding tax, or similar charge that applies in your jurisdiction, except for taxes on our net income.
